Introducing Our New Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Please join me in welcoming our new First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Hobe Sound Golf Club, Clinton Tingen.

After a thorough search and interview process, Clinton was selected for this important position that will replace our current First Assistant, Mike Francisco, who will be retiring soon.

Clinton comes to HSGC following his role as Construction Superintendent at The Polo Club of Boca Raton. Prior to that, he served as superintendent at The Traditions Golf Club at Chapel Ridge and as first assistant at The Club at 12 Oaks, both in North Carolina.

He has experience in re-grassing renovation and new irrigation installation, which will be of utmost importance as we progress with our 2019 golf course renovation.

Clinton earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Turfgrass Management at North Carolina State University and also served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

When you see Clinton out on the course, be sure to give him a friendly hello!

Thank you,

Paul Nunez

Green Committee Chairman
