We have rescheduled the tee coring that was originally planned for May 14 to May 21. May 21 is the first Monday that the course and club will be closed during our summer schedule. Click here for our 2018 summer renovation schedule.
We have a planting date of May 17 for the flyover areas on hole 1, right of the tee on 5, and the flyover on 12.
The wetland flyover plantings should be completed in one day.
During the planting process, we will move all the tee markers to the fairway side of the flyover on holes 1 and 12. This is for safety and productivity reasons.
We will start planting the upland buffer plants behind #4 green and #5 tee on Tuesday, May 8.
We are in the process of removing about 20 dead pines from the course and grinding miscellaneous tree stumps.
We are also placing additional “rip rap rock” in known washout problem areas near our lakes (see photos below). This will help protect the shorelines from erosion.
