The Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Each year forecasters predict the number of storms likely to become hurricanes. 2009 was a quiet year for storms on the Treasure Coast with no named storms reaching our area. Due to our past experience with hurricanes and tropical weahter, we are very diligent in our preparation and readiness in the event a storm comes our way.
Here at the Club department heads and the Club Manager will meet when a hurricane watch has been issued. A hurricane watch indicates the possibility of hurricane conditions within 36 hours. In the event that the Club and course will be closed, a notice will be posted on this website and an email sent out. Please remember that the clubhouse is not considered an evacuation shelter. After the storm subsides and the roadways are clear all department heads, Golf Course Superintendent and Club Manager will assess the damage to the property. After ensuring the safety of all personnel on property priorites will be established by the Club Manager in resuming operations.
