The 2009 Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Forecasters predict this season to bring 14 named storms to the Atlantic Ocean, with seven of them becoming hurricanes. Colorado State University forecasters Phillip Klotzback and William Gray say that is an "above average" hurricane season.
There is a 63 percent chance that at least one major hurricane will make landfall on the United States, according to the report.

In the event that the Club and course will be closed, a notice will be posted on this website and an email sent out. Please remember that the clubhouse is not considered an evacuation shelter. After the storm subsides and the roadways are clear all department heads, Golf Course Superintendent and Club Manager will assess the damage to the property. After ensuring the safety of all personnel on property priorites will be established by the Club Manager in resuming operations.
